Tim lives in Ely, Cambridgeshire and draws his inspiration from the stunning architecture of the historic cathedral in Ely and the mediaeval buildings nearby as well as from the unique landscapes of the Cambridgeshire fens.

Working in a digital medium, Tim generally starts with a photograph, or more often a montage of photographs, to construct the composition of his pictures. He then applies various digital filters and techniques to add and remove colour, heighten contrasts and produce finishes that are often far removed from the basic photographic images he started with.
